Join the Quiet Revolution!

Wisdom is the new revolution. Let's allow everyone to benefit.

Wisdom takes courage. It is often the quiet voice. Where knowledge screams, wisdom tends to be heard more in whispers. It calls on our inner knowing, a positive vibe maybe, a pulling forward into a better version of ourselves. We need courage to listen to it.

“Let us be silent, that we may hear the whisper of God.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

I'm waiting for the tipping point, when people will make choices in their life more based on what is calling them forward, rather than in an effort to avoid what's causing them pain. Do we move to a new location because we hate where we were, or because we love where we are going? Do we exercise more for preventing health problems or for the energy we get? What about a job choice? How we spend our money; our time? It's so easy to feel propelled by the inertia of life and to react only when necessary, when in pain or suffering. Then again, our beliefs can lead us astray. Sometimes what intellectually sounds good or might even look good on paper, we later discover is not actually what we need or want. Our logic tells us we're making a smart move, but are we really doing the right thing at the right time for our own personal growth? The good news is we are capable of hearing what calls us forward! That takes wisdom. Wisdom takes courage.

"It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are." ~ e. e. cummings

To support sustainable life - your life - requires a new way of thinking and being that takes us out of the rat race. We are already in the midst of this huge shift! Our beliefs are being challenged, our priorities and values too. We are already evolving.

"Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen." ~ Brené Brown

What does evolved thinking look like? It’s taking what we know, infusing it with positivity, raising it up for all to see, and applying it in every way we know how. It’s acknowledging all the resources we have – money, yes; but most of all abundance of love, natural open spaces, free time, deep relationships, nutritious food, innovative ideas, acts of service, etc. – all that which supports humanity’s well-being, and reorienting our social systems to optimize them all. A new system of finances, agriculture, education, healthcare, government, etc. is needed and everything is now ripe for this change. And they are changing already. It’s up to those of us who have enough abundance to dedicate the time, effort and resources to making the changes.

"It is indisputable that evolved thinking recognizes the universality of Life." ~ Vanna Bonta

Join me in creating this shift! Starting with you. You have a unique perspective that the world needs to make life better for everyone. You are valuable! Think about what you want to step into; create your own little revolution and lets see if we can create the tipping point! Because wisdom takes courage, and every person who joins in makes it a little easier!

"What you do makes and difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make." ~ Jane Goodall
